A Couple of Notes on Zoom

1. All of the events below are offered via Zoom. You will be prompted to install zoom when you first visit the OMZ zoom url. If you need any additional support please view the help section on You can always email if you're still having trouble.

2. Headphones with a microphone can be useful. It helps your voice come through more clearly and also reduces echo.

3. When Zoom first opens for you, make sure to click "join with computer audio." Please be aware, when you enter the room, you are automatically muted so as not to interrupt a talk or zazen. If you don't need to speak leave this as is.

4. On Saturdays following Barry's talk there will be a discussion group. In order to facilitate this, please press the "raise hand" button on zoom when you want to speak. You'll then be added to the queue. When it's your turn to speak, you will be unmuted and called on. There are youtube videos on how to do this for the desktop version, and the mobile version.

5. Only the Jikido and Barry will be performing chants on audio. Please have yourself muted for all chants, and do them on your own.
