The physical New York Zendo is closed until after labor day.
Daily and Saturday sitting on Zoom remains the same, all periods are covered there.

Reccomended Giving and Making Payments

As a not-for-profit organization, Ordinary Mind Zendo relies solely on the generosity of our members and contributors to fund our daily operations. We have no other sources of income.

Membership in Ordinary Mind Zendo implies a commitment to a student-teacher relationship with Barry Magid. One aspect of that relationship is consistent financial support of the sangha. The suggested amount is $75 per month. $50 is an acceptable reduced rate for students, seniors, and others.

Small Gifts

No gift is too small, and Ordinary Mind is grateful for smaller ongoing donations from the larger sangha who enjoy our talks and events and would like to support the zendo. Donations can be made online via our donation form.

Non-Member Suggested weekly giving

Non-members attending daily sitting are recommended to make a donation of $3 per sit. We request that non-members offer a $10 donation for attendance at a Saturday dharma talk. We ask that members and non-members offer a $5 donation for the Saturday study group.

Making payments

Dues and donations can be paid online using the form above or check made payable to Ordinary Mind Zendo. To mail in a check, please send it to: Ordinary Mind Zendo 107 West 74th Street Apt. BR New York, NY 10023
