We have a dichotomy of health versus illness as if we were clearly one or the other. We can create an image of health that we aspire to and pursue by all sort of preventative care, diet, and so on. But the danger of a certain kind of aspiration of health is that you're always on the defensive. Your project will ultimately fail. A big part of practice is about how we frame the things that happen to us in our own minds. How do we see the inevitable old age and death that will befall us? As a flaw? Or as part of being human?
